2015 hope & grace Dry Riesling
Before Prohibition, Riesling was Napa Valley's dominant white variety, thanks to German immigrants like Charles Krug, Jacob Schram and Frederick Beringer, who planted the grapes they knew best. Riesling persisted in the valley when the wine industry emerged from Prohibition. Although many wine neophytes initially think of Riesling as being a sweet wine, we food & wine adventures know better ... Dry, dry drier! We consider Riesling to be a true aristocratic grape that will rival Chardonnay as a food pairing wine any day!
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant aromas of citrus, orange blossom and honeycomb … notes of honeysuckle, vanilla and cardamom. Vibrant citrus fruit flavors entice the palate … Complex, lush with a balanced acidity and a hint of minerality through the extended zesty finish.
