2011 hope & grace Late Harvest Riesling, Napa Valley
Late harvest is a term applied to wines made from grapes left on the vine longer than usual. Late harvest is usually an indication of a sweet dessert wine, such as late harvest Riesling. Late harvest grapes have been naturally dehydrated while on the vine.
Winemaker notes: Aromas of fresh ripe pears, nectarines and citrus ... with a hint of sweet almonds and honeycomb ... A delicate sultry essences of sweet stone fruit and honey glide across the palate with deliciously long lingering finish. This is a lightly sweet late harvest wine.
