2006 hope & grace Pinot Noir
Sleepy Hollow Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands

This is our sixth vintage of hope & grace Pinot Noir. We produced 1,200 cases from Robert Talbot’s renowned Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wine is produced in a traditional burgundian style, full of richness, earthiness & velvety textures.

Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
Vineyard designation: Sleepy Hollow Vineyard
Appellation: Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County
Barrel Aging: 16 Months Remond & Cadus French Oak Barrels
Winemaker: Charles Hendricks
Production: 1200 cases
Release date: Late Spring 2008

Winemaker Notes:
Deep Aromas of wild berries, almonds, white pepper and a hint of rose.  On the first taste, the wine tantalizes the tongue with vivacious cherry fruit swirling amidst subtle oak spice, and a slight hint of smoky bacon. A superbly balanced wine, drinking beautifully now, but will benefit with short term cellaring.
